Rates are based on a maximum of two people per bedroom.
Children over the age of 12 are welcome.
Rates do not include 9.7% tax.

Cancellations :
Due to Nantucker's unique location, we rely on advance reservations. Deposits, less a 20% fee,
are refundable up to 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. For multiple room or week-long-stay
reservations, deposits, less a 20% fee, are refundable up to 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date.
The greater of the total rate due or Deposit (see below) for your Entire Stay is not refundable for any reason, including weather, within 30 days (or 60 days for multiple rooms or week-long stays) prior to your scheduled arrival date. Any change in confirmed arrival date or departure is treated as a Cancellation.
Cancellations must be in writing. Please review this policy and consider trip insurance for unforeseen events.
Deposit and Balance Due : 100% deposit is required for reservations made within 30 days
of the scheduled arrival date. 100% deposit is required for reservations booking multiple rooms or week-long stays confirmed
within 60 days of the scheduled arrival date. For all other reservations, a deposit of the first four nights plus 50% of all
additional nights is due at the time of reservation. Any balance remaining is due 31 days prior to the scheduled arrival date.
For week-long stays or multiple room reservations, the balance is due 61 days prior to arrival. Credit Cards accepted are Visa,
Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Diners Club. Checks are accepted for reservations made more than 30 days prior to arrival.
Lite Bite Baskets : Please place orders for Lite Bite Baskets at least four days prior to your scheduled arrival date.
Each Lite Bite Basket is customized by the guest (or sometimes by friends of our guests) at the time of order. All Lite Bite Baskets
are pre-paid when ordered and not refundable. To enhance your enjoyment of your privacy and private entrance, we do not have a common room and do not serve breakfast to reduce noise.
Non-Smoking Policy : Both properties of the Nantucket Whaler Guest House are smoke-free properties. There
is no smoking or candles allowed on the entire property, including all interior space, the outside deck areas, porches and gardens. A flat
fee of $250 per day is charged to your credit card to eliminate any odors, including the odor of smoke, for the next guest.
Minimum Stay Requirements : A three (3) night minimum is required from Memorial Day to Labor Day and all holidays, festivals and
Stroll. All other times, a two night minimum night stay is required. At times, shorter stays are possible.
Check-in at 3 pm. Check-Out is at 10 am.
For your convenience, we check-in our guests at either the 8 North Water Street Property or the 4 Step Lane Property (www.steplane.com). Please arrive
for check-in at the property where your guest room or suite is located.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept pets of any type or size.
All guest rooms and one bed room suites accommodate a maximum of two people. All two bedroom suites accommodate a maximum of four people.
If a room is reserved for less than the maximum number of people, additional person adds a charge of $100 per night plus tax to the rate of the room or suite.
We do not have roll-away or sofa beds.
Gratuities for the staff are not included in the room rate.
