Enter your Guestroom or Suite through the privacy of a separate entrance from your deck or brick patio facing our beautifully manicured garden. In each of our special living rooms and bedrooms, you will be treated to the finest in luxury, comfort and convenience.

Step into your bedroom to find a luxurious mountain of plump pillows piled high atop a beautiful bed dressed in fine linens and down comforter. As you settle in, help yourself to complimentary bottled water or coffee while you leaf through the Nantucket Guide Book, local paper and area maps provided for you. Fluffy towels and Aveda bath amenities await you, as well as fine bathrobes for your use while you stay with us. Each room has a hair dryer, steam iron and ironing board. Beach towels are provided daily throughout your stay.

Flat screen TVs with cable, a DVD and/or VCR player, CD stereo and alarm clock are in each Guestroom and Suite - no details have been overlooked. Books, DVDs or videos may be chosen from our library or bring your own favorites. Each Suite and most Guestrooms at our 8 North Water Property include a deluxe wet bar area with a built-in cabinets, counter, sink, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave and toaster oven. Indulge yourself with a late breakfast or afternoon cocktails sitting in the quiet solitude of your peaceful surroundings. You will quickly notice the benefits of eliminating on-premises cooking and public space. Our incredible location, steps from most of the island's best restaurants, provides a full range of culinary choices at your fingertips - for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Upon request, a Lite Bite basket for breakfast or an afternoon snack will be delivered to your Guestroom or Suite for your enjoyment and added to your guest charges.

For those seeking even more privacy, two additional Guestrooms, which may be reserved individually or as a duplex suite, are available at our Step Lane Property - built in the 1820's. Our Step Lane Property, located at 4 Step Lane, is within 100 yards of 8 North Water Street (see our map on our Travel Page). This coveted property enjoys all of the same luxury amenities and modern conveniences. Our covered porch area at the entry of our Step Lane Property is a wonderful way to enjoy the evenings. The foyer and living room, with original details and fireplace, complete the main level. The second floor Guestroom has an original fireplace, a king bed and large original windows with double sinks in the full bathroom. The third floor Guestroom has a seperate sitting room with a view of the harbor, a queen size bed in the bedroom and a full bathroom. Each Step Lane Guestroom has an en suite refrigerator and coffeemaker together with wine glasses, plates, cups and flatware.

In addition, we are glad to be able to offer our guests the ability to receive a fax or check their e-mail. (Additional charges may apply.) We also have a variety of indoor and outdoor games including croquet, bocce ball, games and puzzles.

We gladly accommodate children over the age of 12.

The Nantucket Whaler accommodations and entire property, at both locations, are maintained as smoke-free environments. This includes the suites, rooms, gardens, decks, porches and walkways. As you can imagine, any smoke inside or outside would effect our guests who have their windows open or are on the property to enjoy the famous Nantucket air.
